“Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion” (Psalm 125:1)
I’ve been so anxious lately. My due date is almost upon me. Will labor go well? Will I have the support I need? Will I be able to raise up three rambunctious boys and live to see it?
My thoughts have been my worst enemy. Even as I try to choose to trust, I seem to end up floundering in my own fears. The Bible says that those who trust in the Lord are like MOUNT ZION. Immovable. Strong. Secure in the LORD. They are not like a wave of the sea, “…blown and tossed by the wind.” (James 1:6) Nor are they like sand, “who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice” (Mathew 7:26) Lastly, believers do not resemble the wind, “…blown here and there by every wind of teaching” (Ephesians 4:14)
We as believers are mountains! We have a solid foundation. A rock on which we stand.
Trust in God for he is the key to peace.
