“So I commend the enjoyment of life, because there is nothing better for a person under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany them in their toil all the days of the life God has given them under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 8:15)
I think about it so often that I seriously hate to admit it. It’s embarrassing. I think about having my fourth child, but specifically; being on the other side of it. To know that I won’t have to go through another pregnancy, newborn stage, or breastfeeding again. That I’ll, “get some semblance of my life back.”
There I said it. I just want to get to that point. Then I might not be THIS exhausted.
Life cannot be lived out for a destination, cause we will always find a new one.
Guys, there is ONLY ONE destination that we should be living for.. and it isn’t your book being finished, your clothing line, your house being built, health, making six-figures, your kids growing up, your new job, being a mom, getting married… no, the destination is actually Heaven.
Worldly destinations won’t satisfy.
God is more concerned about HIS process than your outcome.
His journey than your destination.
How we get there is more important than wherever THERE is.
Nothing absolutely nothing is guaranteed in this life, except an eternity spent with him if we confess and accept that we want to do life with HIM.
Today, I want to ask you something.. are you building your life on an outcome/destination or are you enjoying the journey he has for you on this side of heaven? Stay faithful through the process my friends!
