Genesis 9:13 “I set my rainbow in the cloud, and it will be for a sign of a covenant between me and the earth.”
Yesterday, I overheard Paxton in the other room, “I want to see a rainbow Jesus, give me a rainbow.” ? He was playing with his toys.
Last night, God granted Paxton’s wish, we saw the most magnificent double rainbow. Through this, I was reminded that God keeps his promises, and many times all we have to do is ASK and believe like a child. Rainbows represent a promise that was given to Noah a long time ago, a promise that the Lord would stand firm on his word to never flood the earth again. A covenant between him and man.
A rainbow is basically a reminder saying: I’m good for my word, and I’m good for my promises. Children remind us that sometimes all we have to do is ASK for what we are wishing for, and believe that it will be done for us. John 15:7, “If you abide in me and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you.”
Beautiful and true! The key is abiding in Him. ?
