Raise your hand in the air if you’re a people-pleaser. Yes. I’m an addict. What do I mean? I’m an addict to people’s PRAISE. You see, that’s what people pleasing is. It is desiring to be LIKED or appreciated. It is serving God, not people.
How can I say such a thing? Cause I am one. I’ve come a LONG way, but it’s taken me a LONG time. You see, I used to spend so much wasted energy thinking about what other people thought about me. Wasted energy because you can’t change what people think, and you can’t change what people do. As long as you are right before God than you are right.
“10 For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ. 11 For I would have you know, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man.” (Galatians 1:10-11)

“23 but only, they kept hearing, “He who once persecuted us is now preaching the faith which he once tried to destroy. 24 And they were glorifying God because of me” (Galatians 1:23-24)
